Staff Celebrate as Famous Brewer Returns to Family
T&R Theakston, one of the best known names in British brewing, has
returned to the founding family following negotiations on the sale of the business by Scottish & Newcastle plc.
As an independent family-owned brewer Theakston’s future development will be managed by the heirs of the original founder, Robert Theakston who set up the brewery in 1827.
